Launch of National Epilepsy Day and National Awareness Month February 03, 2025

Health-specific days, weeks, and months, endorsed by the World Health Organization and other international bodies, play a crucial role in spotlighting key health concerns, mobilizing global awareness, and fostering preventive action. The honoured guests endorsed the need for sustained awareness and action to combat stigma, and expressed their full support for this critical initiative.

Presidents of ILAE Prof. Helen Cross, IBE Dr. Franseca , and ILAE-Asia Oceania shared video messages applauding this step, noting the importance of national observances in addressing stigma and the treatment gap.
